BRINGING THE MASTERS HOME -
The 2021 Masters is nearly here and it's back in its more traditional position in the golfing calendar. However, the hallowed fairways of Augusta National will not be fully lined with patrons quite yet due to the ongoing pandemic restrictions.
Since the number of patrons who will be able to stroll down Magnolia Lane this week will be limited, we have compiled our top tips to boost your Masters enjoyment from the comfort of your own home!
1.) How to make the famous Masters Pimento sandwich
This Masters culinary favourite has long been a somewhat mystery due to its ‘secret’ recipe, but as last year’s green jacket winner recently demonstrated the recipe is now readily available, so why not give this snack a try while you tune in to watch this weekend.
2.) How to watch the Masters
Masters Sunday is rightly considered compulsory viewing for golf fans around the world, the endless permutations lurking around Amen corner mean it is TV that cannot be missed. And, with so many platforms and devices available to take in the coverage of this 85th tournament at Augusta National, we think it best that you bookmark this page on the Masters.com website to guarantee you don’t miss a shot between April 8th – 11th.

3.) Be inspired by the Past Masters winners’ menus
What better way to accompany your golf viewing than with a meal inspired by the green jacket winners over the decades. It is tradition that the menu selected by the previous year’s champion is served to fellow Augusta victors on the Tuesday prior to the start of play at the annual Champions Dinner.
And, thanks to the truly international field of players over the decades there has been no shortage of variety in the cuisine chosen, from Bubba Watson’s grill chicken and cornbread combo to Jose Maria Olazabal’s Spanish Paella and tapas. This year the players will enjoy Dustin Johnsons selection of comfort food classics, including pigs in blankets and peach cobbler.

4.) How to make ‘The Azalea’ cocktail
What better way to bring the Masters clubhouse ambiance into your home than by attempting a signature cocktail, named after the famous flowers synonymous with this major venue. So, slip on your green jacket, grab a cocktail shaker and prepare ‘The Azalea’.
Ingredients
2 ounces lemon juice
2 ounces pineapple juice
4 ounces vodka
¼ ounce grenadine
Directions
Combine the vodka, pineapple juice, lemon juice, and grenadine in a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain the contents of the shaker into an ice-filled glass. Garnish with a lemon wedge and serve.
